A lot of people — once they've boarded a plane, traveled a few thousand miles, and gone through the hassles of customs and immigration — want to make the most of their stay at a destination. They want to see the most interesting places and sites. They want to learn some about the local culture. They want to have fun doing new and interesting things. They want to eat at local restaurants to check out local food. They may want to check out a bit of local nightlife. In short, they want to maximize their vacation experience, squeezing all the sweet, juicy goodness out of it. If this sounds like you, we've designed our Good Energy Experiences just for you. A Good Energy Experience ("GEE" for short) is a guided vacation. It's best explained this way: we're your vacation hosts and you are friends visiting us from another country. We want to show you the best (most interesting, most flavorful, most beautiful, most memorable, etc.) time possible while in Roatan. Upon your arrival we'll sit with you and together plan your schedule for the week, making sure to leave some time for laying on the beach and otherwise having some "do nothing" time. We say "schedule" for lack of a better word, but it's not something rigid. You will be able to decide day by day how much activity you want to incorporate in your day. It's your vacation, after all.
Again, the keyword with GEEs is guided. Whenever you leave the property to do an activity you will be accompanied by select staff members who will be your guides. This ensures that you always have a friendly bilingual person with local knowledge to show you a good time, make sure you don't miss out on anything important, and otherwise assist you. Are you ready for your Good Energy Experience? A typical GEE week includes a trip to Pigeon Cay (one of the top spots to snorkel in the world!), a guided tour of Roatan island, a guided water taxi tour of Oak Ridge ("the Venice of Honduras"), a hike up Picacho (Roatan's highest peak), horseback riding, beach massages, a sunset cruise, romantic dinners, daily yoga (if you practice or would like to try), and Paya Bay's awesome Tribal Beach Party. |
